The next day..
It was early in the morning when I woke up and chose to get freshen up..
So I did some workout and then took a shower.. after changing into comfy clothes I went to eat my breakfast..
Vaishu you're early for breakfast today, anything wrong??.. mom asked..
Nope mom I just woke up a bit earlier than usual on my own.. I replied
Ohh good then..come eat your breakfast..
I then went to have my breakfast....

I did came here to chill but I'm currently attending some study sessions as I was hell bored..unfortunately I still do feel bored like I usually do..
It's almost 11a.m. now I gotta leave my room for God's sake..I thought and went downstairs..
As I went ahead I saw mom cooking for lunch...as she don't usually because she has severe back pain..
Mumma you cooking today?? All of a sudden why?? ... I asked worridly
No I'm really happy for your bhaiya's marriage that is why I called your sister-in-law and her parents to join us for lunch but as her parents had to attend a family function so they had to go out of town today itself but your sister-in-law and her brothers are joining us and good news is that they will stay here only..till their parents would comeback ..
Whatt!! Yesss finally I would be able to spend sometime with bhabi as I have no one to talk to... mom you literally saved me from my boring day...
They we both laughed and I helped home in cooking...meanwhile dad also joined us..

Mumma it's almost 2p.m. now where is bhabi? And what about bhaiya won't he join us??.. I asked..
Yes he's on the way Vaishu.. mom replied

I was scrolling when mom called my mom from downstairs.. to which I responded a" I'm coming "and went down..
Beti tumhare toh do bhai hai na..??Vaishnavi's mother asked ..
(Daughter you had two brothers right??)
Hn aunty.. Sakshi replied.
(Yes aunty)
Then where's Hridansh??.. Daksh suddenly appeared in front of them and asked Sakshi while looking at Dhruv who's giving a side eye to him..
Daksh you know Bhaiya right?? I mean how he is.. so even after trying so hard in convincing him to come here he denied but sent Dhruv here with me forcefully as Dhruv was also denying like him.. Sakshi said looking a bit annoyed by her brothers..
Dhruv beta, tum kyun nhi ana chahate the beta?? ..Daksh mother asked him..
Now how would Dhruv explain her about him being upset about his sister hiding such a big thing from him and telling him at the last when he came here and their parents were already convinced for her marriage..
Unable to answer something Dhruv was looking down when suddenly he caught someone coming downstairs through his peripheral vision and then looked at that direction..only to get immense shock..
Everyone was waiting for him to answer but as he was completely lost so they were too shocked and looked at the same direction as him only to get them feel relaxed as it was Vaishnavi..
On the other hand Vaishnavi felt a pair of eyes staring at her so she looked up only to stop on her track and got a shock as well..
Vaishnavi why are you standing there like this come fast we're getting late for lunch.. Suddenly Vaishnavi got back to reality when her mother called her and then came to where others were standing..
Come on kids let's eat now.. Vaishnavi's dad called them all..
Yes come Sakshi, come Dhruv and you both come let's eat the plates are already served.. Vaishnavi's mother added..
Then they all went to sit at the table and started eating..
But it was awkward for some except Daksh and his parents there... as Daksh was giving hard time to Sakshi by rubbing his bare foot with hers..and Dhruv and Vaishnavi couldn't believe they would have a surprise meet-up with each other..

Hey Didi.. Dhruv called
While Sakshi was sitting in the hall talking with Daksh, Vaishnavi and their parents..
What? .. Sakshi asked in confusion..
I think I should leave..he said..
Before Sakshi could reply her in laws did and forcefully made him stay with them with sweet words and gestures...
Meanwhile Vaishnavi couldn't believe that she is really avoiding her best friend Dhruv...and he's also doing the same.. and both are avoiding eye contacts even after Vaishnavi's parents introduced both of them to each other..
Sakshi now go and take some rest along with you brother..Daksh and Vaishnavi go show accompany them and show them their respective rooms on the way.. Vaishnavi's mother said.
Mom if you don't mind Sakshi can adjust in my room along with me.. Daksh added..
What?.. Dhruv asked coldly with a raising eyebrow..
Hmm??. Daksh's mom replied angrily
And Vaishnavi she out of nowhere said mom if you don't mind I want to ask bhabi if she wanna stay with me in my room... she looked a bit lost but still saved Daksh..as he added..
Exactly I meant this I was asking if Sakshi can stay along with Vaishu in her room..Daksh said..rubbing his neck smiling..
Yeah yeah.. his mother replied..and said a yes on Sakshi and Vaishnavi sharing her room together..
Dhruv you wanna share.. before Sakshi could complete..
Dhruv replied no need and went ahead after telling Daksh to show him his guest room for him to stay..
Then they all left to rest in their respective rooms...

Vaishu can you pass me the water bottle I wanna drink some water.. Sakshi said to Vaishnavi while they were talking for so long..
Sister-in-law there's no water in the bottle to which Vaishnavi replied ..
Oh let me go downstairs then..Sakshi said..
Nhi nhi let me bring water for you as I'm also thirsty and after drinking water I'll fill up this bottle too.. Vaishnavi said..
Okayyy... Sakshi replied with a smile
Just when Vaishnavi opened the door Daksh entered in walking past her..
Bhaiya?.. what are you doing here ??.
Daksh?.. you here? Sakshi asked .
Daksh went up to her and sat on the sofa ..before anything else could happen Vaishnavi left for drinking water..
Let them have their moments he smiled while thinking about them ..
Why are you smiling like that alone?? ..
Suddenly a voice cut through her thoughts.. which was none other than Dhruv's ..
Vaishnavi was again shocked to see him there in the kitchen..
What are you doing here??..she questioned him as if he's stealing something from there..
What?..Can't I come here alone?? .. he asked ..
No you can't you thief!.. she replied.
A what? Thief?? Seriously Vaishnavi..
I'm your f*cking best friend not a thief.. you know me..he said
What??.. Suddenly some voices cut in..to which they both flinched..
Dhruv and Vaishnavi both turned their head to that direction only to see Daksh and Sakshi standing there questioning them..
You both are what?. Daksh asked possessively
Best FRIENDS!.. Sakshi replied judgingly..
How I mean how Vaishnavi why did you made him your best friend what did he do to deserve you even as a friend.. Sakshi asked
Vaishnavi why are you not answering??. Daksh asked
Bhaiya vo .. before Vaishnavi could say anything her parents showed up hearing voices from kitchen..
Mom, dad Dhruv is Vaishnavi's best friend.. Daksh said..
Han toh? Is mein problem kya hai jo tu ese bol rha tha..his parents replied..
(Yeah so.? What was the problem behind it that you made this a big issue )
If they both are friends then I see nothings wrong in it..his mom said
I agree with your mom Daksh change your mindset.. his dad added..
Mom, dad but I was just being protective nothing else.. Daksh said..
Yeah understandable but not acceptable even after you know him bhaiya he's literally the love of your life's brother.. Vaishnavi said..
Okay enough now you all go back to your rooms to rest and no more arguments for today.. with that they all went..
Sakshi was about to go with Vaishnavi when she pulled Dhruv in a corner to talk with him as he looked sad back then and now also..
What happened didi?. Dhruv asked
What happened to you? Why you are looking so sad huh?? Sakshi asked
I'm not sad if that's all you wanted to ask then I'm leaving now bye..
Dhruv was about to leave when Sakshi held his hand and asked softly this time and Dhruv's upsetness got melted ..
Dhruv what's wrong won't you tell your sister?? Come on you are not telling anything but I know you're upset with me.. Sakshi said softly
No I'm not, I'm just..Dhruv couldn't complete what he stated so he kept silence..
I'm sorry Dhruv please forgive me I can feel how much you're hurted by me..you are avoiding eye contacts.. she realized something and asked again.
Dhruv is it because I kept a secret about my relationship with Daksh?...
She knows how sensitive her brothers are for her so it suddenly strikes her that tho she doesn't share everything with her elder brother but she do share everything with her younger brother that is Dhruv..
Dhruv please say something..Sakshi said..
Why.. ? This time Dhruv's broken voice was heard through the silence around..
Dhruv.. Sakshi's voice broke too but her heart broke harder..
She called his name in a broken voice and suddenly Dhruv hugged her and warm tears left from his eyes which Sakshi felt too and broke their hug just to wipe his tears first..
Dhruv don't cry, I'm sorry I told you at last after everything was fixed but I just wanted to surprise you all.. don't get me wrong hmm?.. Sakshi said..hugging him again..
After sometime Dhruv finally stopped weeping and came back to normal state .. but his eyes were red and he got a running nose after all the crying..
Dhruv please you will catch a cold now don't cry anymore.. Sakshi said crying as well..
Dhruv wiped her tears and nodded..and they hugged once again before leaving..for their respective rooms..

Author's note: brothers are the best gift in the world, they do fight with their sisters but they are the most possessive ones when it comes to boys..
